We love the Galvestonian. We do not like the day guests rules. I can understand a party but just another couple. They will make them stay in the room or go to the public beach access. It’s still our favorite place on the island.
My wife and I made the 13 hour trek to Galveston again this year for our anniversary. It was our second time staying at the Galvestonian (2015), and we once again enjoyed our stay immensely! Lots to do in Galveston these days, even in October. Some attractions (including pleasure pier) were closed during the week though, so keep that in mind. Our room (1208) was very-well equipped and had pretty much anything you could need. The decor was nice and clean but did show some mild wear in spots. We loved the two-recliner living room setup this unit had, but the chairs were very broken down and didn't offer much cushion comfort/support for me. The nice t.v. and large amount channels offered were great as well. The staff was very helpful as we decided to stay a couple days longer than planned. The only bad thing was when it was time to leave, as we weren't ready yet! God-willing we'll be back soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay! :)
Perfectly secluded. Quiet, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful. Stunning views from our room. Easy access to beach. Quick drive to restaurants and nightlife. Will definitely be back.
Room was an Airbnb apartment. It was set up very comfortable and homely. The view from balcony is magnificent! The Galvestonian is right on the beach, so all you need is to cross a private bridge and you're at the ocean. I recommend this place.
The Galvestonain room 1103 was a wow moment type room. It was a true timeless vibe and it was clean. The view was absolutely breathtaking, it overlooked the Gulf with peaceful ocean vibes. The staff was very attentive and professional. You will remember this room due to the view alone!
Who knew we had white sand beaches in Galveston? What a great property: front desk, pool, boardwalk to the beach… oh and the rooms… all wonderful! Can’t wait to get back!
Off the main drag in a more secluded area. Beautiful, clean property. Hot tub with heated pool. The staff were very professonal . Oscar was AWESOME! The Galvestonian exceeded our expectations.
I had a great experience at the Galvestonian. I was in a two bedroom suite one bedroom or two beds and one bedroom king size bed awesome pool. Jacuzzi. all the rooms have great view of the beach. And access to the beach. my first time in Galveston. they serve coffee at 7 AM. my unit at a full kitchen with everything you need. Cable TV.
